This dip is for those who love olives. It is full of both green and black olives and lots of cheese, creating a dip that is creamy and salty.
For serving this dip you could use crackers, tortilla chips or little slices of a crusty bread. It really goes well with a variety things.
Olive Cheese Dip
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup green olives, diced
- 1 cup black olives, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350º F.
- In a large mixing bowl stir together all of the ingredients until well mixed.
- Transfer the dip into a baking dish about 1 1/2 quarts and sprea into an even layer
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the dip is hot throughout.
Notes:
You can use more or less red pepper flakes depending on how spicy you like things.
